About The Club
The Club is the first and #1 Club on the Net for the Fans of The WB Series ROSWELL. The Club has been in the works almost as long as the show has been a concept. After first hearing about it through the Hollywood Grapevine, we the founders of TRFC, knew that it was going to be a sucess. The Club was founded on the Net in June of 1999 and has grown to 182 members as of our last update.
I am proud to say that we are reaching the 200 mark! I would like to thank all of those who have joined the club and all of those who are going to. It is great to see that there is such an overwhelming fan support of the series.
About The Show ROSWELL is based on the popular book series ROSWELL HIGH by Melinda Metz. The series takes a look at what would happen if aliens had survived the 1947 ROSWELL CRASH and were now living amongst humans. All the while never being able to tell their secret to anyone. That all changed when Max Evans (Jason Behr) used his powers to save Liz Parker (Shiri Appelby) who was dying after a gunshot wound. After that she and her friends Maria Deluca (Majandra Delfino) and Alex Whitman (Colin Hanks) learn that Max, his sister Isabel (Katherine Heigl) and their friend Michael (Brendan Fehr) are not of this earth.
According to a representative that we contacted at The
Wb, the rumors of Roswells cancelation have been
greatly exaggerated and a announcement about the
shows future is expected fairly soon. However, feel free
to continue with the SAVE ROSWELL Campaigns and
let the network know how dedicated the fans are. OF
SPECIAL NOTE: The Only WB shows that are
contracted for New year are Buffy and Angel.
Announcement will be made sometime in May as to
what exactly will occur with the series.
Club Updates We have finally fixed the quirks with Freeserver. The new site will not be launched until sometime this summer. Mostly because KC, who is now taking over the matienance of the site while Cordy is away, has Buffy and Angel pages that are currently under construction.
Also we have won THE CITY OF ROSWELL AWARD, which can be seen on the main page.
